How to make a Tuna casserole

 Tuna casserole is a classic comfort food that is easy to make and always a hit. This recipe is for a basic tuna casserole, but you can easily customize it to your liking by adding different vegetables, cheeses, or seasonings.







Ingredients:

1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup

1/2 cup milk

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 (12 ounce) package egg noodles

1 (12 ounce) can tuna, drained

1 cup frozen peas

1/2 cup bread crumbs

1 tablespoon melted butter

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In a large bowl, combine the soup, milk, and cheddar cheese.
Cook the egg noodles according to package directions. Drain and rinse with cold water.
Add the tuna, peas, and noodles to the soup mixture. Stir to combine.
Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
In a small bowl, combine the bread crumbs and melted butter. Sprinkle the bread crumb mixture over the top of the casserole.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.

Tips:

For a more flavorful tuna casserole, add 1/2 cup chopped onion and 1/2 cup chopped celery to the soup mixture.

You can also add 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese to the top of the casserole before baking.

Serve tuna casserole with your favorite sides, such as a tossed salad or a side of bread.
